What can I say? I have had an inexplicable soft spot for the man ever since my younger aunt played Bat Out of Hell into the ground around me during my formative years.
Me too. I've got all the Bat Out of Hell albums, and lately have been playing 3 on constant repeat. Somehow he always seems to strike the right mix of angry/depressing/lonely/angsty/sappy in his albums for my angsty moods.

Seriously, his real name was Marvin Lee Aday and, for some reason, he changed it to Michael in 2001 or so.
