Ok, I am arrived here in Washington DC safe and sound for the American Library Association Annual Conference. I am staying with erinpoetchica and so will have some access to internet, although I will not be checking email as often as usual or reading LJ friends pages.

I can't believe what I just experienced... dude, that's the best exhibit hall - EVER. I'm so glad that the ALA was in DC so that I could experience it!! I think I'll try to pop over again on my lunch hour Monday...

I was going to pop over quick just to pick up some more free ARCs... but will find a way to work it out for lunch too but if you're free for lunch on Tuesday (it's still going on then too, yeah?) - that would work out better because then I could give work a days advance notice and get a longer lunch hour (like two hours).
