Well, so far today, I have unpacked, done a load of laundry, gone grocery shopping, and stopped by the pet store to pick up snake food and rabbit food (neither of which can be gotten at the grocery store) where I steadfastly and with great resolve resisted taking home the adorable little white kitten they had up for adoption.

I'm quite proud of myself.
