Professional Literature
I've come to the conclusion that there is just plain too much of it. Due to my memberships in professional associations, I get subscriptions to five journals. One is general, three are specific to academic libraries, and one is specific to Louisiana libraries. Three come monthly, the other two quarterly.
This is an awful lot of reading. It doesn't even count the other journals that I'd like to try and keep up on. The ones I don't have a subscription to, but the library does. I will probably never catch up. I'm still in January.
