No one. The cats are permanently banned from the bedroom at night because the last time I let them in they played games of hide-and-go-pounce and catch-me-if-you-can on top of me all night.

A oatmeal raisin cookie from the CC's in the library. It was yummy.
What kind of books do you read?
Just about everything, although I am partial to fantasy novels of all types. Pretty much whatever I pick up from ALA.
What are you reading right now?
Robert Coover, Pricksongs and Descants; Justin Richards, The Death Collector; Gerald S. Hawkins, Stonehenge Decoded; Max Lüthi, The European Folktale: Form and Nature; and a metric fuckton of fanfiction.
If you could be anywhere right now, where would it be?
Home. In bed. Asleep.

The unnaturally pale, sparkly, Twilight dildo. Put it in the freezer for an "authentic experience."

What's your current fandom / obsession / addiction?
Star Trek 2009. Kirk/Bones. I know, TOS is completely Kirk/Spock, but have you *seen* the new movie? Dude.
What did you really want to do today that you didn't?
Sleep in.
What are you most excited for?
A weekend of sleep. But no, seriously? Thanksgiving in Boston with shadesong.
What websites do you always visit when you go online?
Gmail, Google Reader (to keep track of my fic blogs). I usually check Facebook at least once a day.
What was the last thing you bought?
A Dr. Pepper and two cookies at the library CC's.
If you could have any pet, what would it be?
I assume you mean any pet I don't already have? A wolf-dog. Or a horse. Or both. But that would necessitate someplace colder, and much bigger, with lots of land.
What do you want right this minute, off the top of your head?
The workday to be over. Which it will be, soon.
Where is the place you like to return to in order to calm down / relax / etc.?
My apartment. Preferably with a purring cat or two on my lap.
Why are cicadas cuter when they have wings?
Cicadas are not cuter when they have wings. That would require them to be cute in the first place. They are merely less disgusting with wings than without.
Why are most casualties of war Russians, even when they win?
Because Russia has a lot of people, so their historical battle strategy has been to keep throwing cannon fodder at the enemy until eventually the other side runs out of biological ammunition.
Are there any bits of childhood that you miss?
Walking to the local library with my grandfather. Sunday evening family dinners at Noble Roman's (and later Pizza Hut). Using spending time with my little brother as an excuse to watch cartoons I was supposed to be too old for.

Winter. Not that we actually get one here. But I can dream.
