It was a funny day, seeing them wearing the exact same shirt (neon green hoodie), though Mirai knew it was pure coincidence. But she really can't say she was too surprised, the way their mind work is quite similar.
-Mail
It was the girls' (Saaya, Mirai, Suzuka and Umika’s) first movie together and even though they have to read subtitles, it wasn't so bad. 'Fame' was quite interesting and all of them were really into the movie. That was, until Umika's phone vibrated. After that, she never did let go off her phone. Of course, they knew at once who was mailing her.

Ryosuke was singing 'Kawaii Kimi No Koto Da Mono' and Mirai didn't fail to notice when Chii and Umika glance at each other. It was the song Chii sang on karaoke at Mirai's birthday. Mirai smiled, it seems the song wasn't intended for her.

Sakamoto-kun hasn’t arrived yet leaving Mirai with no one to talk to. Kamiki-kun, too, wasn't there yet, but Umika was busy talking with Chii. She wondered again why Chinen is right next to Kawashima when the seating arrangement was supposed to be alphabetical.

Mirai finds it amazing that Umika can smile so much by just seeing Chinen pass by.

Mirai couldn't help but laugh when she heard Chii and Umika would be the main characters in their presentation for school festival. Even their other classmates didn't fail to see that there's... something. Well, it doesn't really need a ‘Chinen’ to know that.
-Movies
The second time they went to the movies, Chii and Yuto went with them. After entering the theatre, Saaya and Mirai was left with themselves because on one side they could see Yuto and Suzuka cuddling and on the other side, there's Chii and Umika. Where was her Ryosuke?
-Teasing
The girls was teasing Umika again. Chii wasn't there yet so they didn't give her any mercy. They were singing a love song and Mirai thought it must mean something that Chii arrived when they were singing the lyrics: "Cause baby two is better than one."
-Dog
Mirai couldn’t help but laugh as Ryosuke shared to her what had happened earlier. That morning, Ryosuke was perplexed when Chii started dragging him outside of Horikoshi because he saw a cute dog. Both Mirai and Ryosuke knew Chii was frightened of dogs.
But then Ryosuke said it was a maltese, and Mirai understood at once. Ryosuke told her he couldn't help but grin. Firstly, the dog is, true to Chii's words, cute. And because the dog is almost a carbon copy of Kawashima’s Vanilla-chan.
-Even
It was entertaining watching Umika grumble about Fukuda Kanon and then watching Chii saying Irie-kun looks gay.
-Playlist
Mirai would always tease Umika saying this and that song fit them (UmiChii), and Umika would always grump saying Mirai was being ridiculous again. But then, Mirai had to smirk when she saw Umika's playlist. And when she saw Chii's, she fought to stifle a squeal.
-Library
Seeing them sleeping in the library was so cute. But it's only second to the fact that even though the whole table was available for stretching, Chii decided to sit so close to Umika.
-Paparazzi
Mirai couldn't stop the smile tugging her lips when she saw Saaya taking pictures of oblivious Chii and Umika.
-Seatmate
It was already decided that while on the bus, Mirai would sit with Suzuka and, Saaya and Umika would sit together. But then just before the field trip, Mirai was a little ticked off that Umika is asking if Saaya could sit with Ogawa-kun because she was sitting with Chii.

(During their field trip)
Ryosuke said the two went a little while ago to the boys' room to watch TV. So, Ryosuke and Mirai followed them there. After a little while, Mirai and Umika went back to their own room. Mirai asked Umika how the show was and it wasn't a surprise when she couldn't remember what the show was all about.
-Takoyaki
Mirai just kept quiet when Chii bought two orders of takoyaki but ask that it placed in one container. Later, even though she already expected it, she was still struck seeing them eat from the same plate.
-Jealous
Umika was so quiet Mirai knew something was wrong. Then she saw Rima wearing Chii's jacket and that explained everything.
-Rival
It was funny how Chii was trying so hard to snatch Umika's phone when Suzuka said Hideo Ishiguro mailed her. It was even funnier because she was the one who mailed her, she just changed her name in Umika’s phonebook.
-Friends
Ayano once again ask Umika if there is something between her and Chii, and Mirai was once again irritated hearing her answer, "Nothing, we're just friends."
-Blame
Mirai is just irritated. She knows her friends, Umika and Chii are meant for each other. She knew they know that, too but just wouldn’t admit it. And she couldn’t blame anyone else for that but Johnny-san and the Horikoshi High School.
-Kyuu
Seeing them taking care of Kyuu, Mirai was sure her future goddaughter or godson would be very well cared for.
