She started her career when she was still very small.
At age 17, she already won many awards.
The 63rd Television Drama Academy Awards: Best Actress for Shokojo Seira, the 58th Television Drama Academy Awards: Best Actress for Seigi no Mikata, the 15th Hashida Awards - Rookie of the Year Prize, and the 46th Television Drama Academy Awards: Best Newcomer for Jyoou no Kyoushitsu, was just some of her awards.
She was currently studying in a private school institution dedicated for tending to the needs of child actors/idols or other children in need of a specialized schedule to focus on other careers: Horikoshi High School.
She is a kind, charming girl... so says her fans.
But in reality, she is a bully.

Yamada Ryosuke, too is a very popular teen idol.
He is an actor, singer, dancer and a member of the popular group, Hey! Say! JUMP.
He too, even at the young age of seventeen had won so many awards. Just this year he won the "Most Ideal Lover Award" in the Entertainment Raking, the "Best Photo of the Year MVP 2010 Award," the "Most Ideal Lover Award" in the Hey!Say!JUMP Ranking (which is now two years in a row), the "Most Ideal Lover Award" in the Renai Grandprix and the "Sexiest Male Celebrity" in the Renai Grandprix.
He too, is studying at Horikoshi High School. In fact, he is in the same class as Mirai.
He is cool and dreamy, says his swooning fans.
But in reality he is whipped.
She's cold and she's cruel but she knows what she's doin'
It had been a routine for class 2D to watch Ryosuke and Mirai interact with each other as it was entertaining.
Yuri can't really grasp how such a gap existed from a student Ryosuke and an Idol Ryosuke.
But he didn't think much of it now, because Mirai just entered their classroom, just in time, and she spotted Ryosuke.

It was their break and Yuto, Ryosuke and Yuri were by the porch just chatting.
"But Umika's really cute." Yuri said.
"She's cute but Suzu-chan's way cuter." Yuto argued.
"No one can beat my Mirai!" Ryosuke said.
His friends rolled their eyes.
"Of course, Ryo-chan." said Yuto.
"If I could, I'll propose to her on the moon." Ryosuke said dreamily.
"Proposal on the moon?" Mirai was passing but apparently heard Ryosuke's last words. "You're stupid." She laughed derisively.
Yuto and Yuri were ready to comfort Yama-chan when she was gone. But Ryo-chan is already in his Mirai-world.
"She laughed!"
She laughs at my dreams but I dream about her laughter
Strange as it seems she's the one I'm after…
It was their study period and Mirai is having a hard time understanding one of their homework.
As Ryosuke was staring at her, he noticed.
“Do you want some help?” he offered to Mirai.
“I don’t need a help from a chimpanzee. But thanks.” She smiled sarcastically at him. But deep inside her she was shouting with giddiness.

It’s a weekend and Yamada went out (with his disguise) to buy something in the convenience store.
But when he walked through the park, he saw three kids ganging up on one boy. He was about to come to the boy's aid but someone got there first. A girl. When she looked up, Yamada realized it was Mirai.
He went closer and he too, give the kids a piece of his mind (even though Mirai was already shouting at them.)
When he was finished, he realized Mirai was gone. But that didn't really disappoint him, in fact, he admired her more.
She runs on 100 proof attitude power
And the more she ignores me, the more I adore her
What can I do? I'd do anything for her
Mirai heard Ryosuke telling his friends about what happened the other day.
And she was pleased at his excited tone, and his last words,
"I can't really predict what she'll do next, but she was so cool then!"

Ryosuke saw Mirai in their library sitting alone and reading a book. He approached her.
"Do you mind?" She said even before he could sit down.
"Hey, I just thought you'd like company."
"With you?" She giggled. "Don't you think we'd made a weird pair?" She said sarcastically as if he wasn't worthy of even being near her.
But it seems the only thing that registered in Ryosuke's head were the words, "We'd-made-a-pair."
She'd rather be alone but I can't give up just yet
Cause every word she's ever said is still ringin' in my head
Ryosuke finally got the guts to ask her.
"Mirai, why do you hate me so much?"
"I don't." She said almost automatically.
When everything I do is only to get tangled up in you

But Ryosuke didn't hear her.
"Mirai, I love you."

Mirai beamed. "You do?"

And then he was taken aback by her next words.
"My plan worked! Yatta!" she said unabashed.
