We recently acquired a stack of large paperback books (think Osprey Men-at-arms) that were in a smokers home. They smell icky.
We've currently got them in a sealed plastic tub with baking soda spread around, so that none of them are touching the baking soda but hoping it might take away some of the smell. Does anyone know of any way to remove smoke smell from books? Can we sprinkle the baking soda directly on to the books?
Any help would be appreciated.
