....This is the problem with LJ, we all think we are so close, and we know nothing about each other. I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about.
Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.
In other news, this last week has been the week from HELL.
Monday started out ok, got lots of stuff out of the basement and garage and put it out in the yard with signs saying 'Take me.' Then I got a sunburn on my back and shoulders.
Tuesday on the way home from work Joe got rear ended on the highway. Of course, he had to be in MY car, not the little egg-looking thing he uses for work because it gets some unholy amount to the gallon. When he went back to ask the guy about insurance, he had a nice, big bag of pot in his lap. (Why he wouldn't wait to get home to mess with it is beyond me.) Then he took off. Joe managed to chase him down and avoid the other accidents the jerk almost caused, so the we had to go file a hit and run report at the police station.
Tuesday night/Wednesday we realized that the bridesmaid dresses
vicsilver chose only some in sizes down to a 4. My littlest sis is a 0. So her dress would have ended up costing about $300+ because not only would she have to buy it, but then pay to have it ripped apart and remade to fit her. So we have to find new dresses. And no one in the bridal industry can see fit to part with a pinky-nail sized piece of material so I can make sure the dresses match the tux vests. It's not like I'm asking for a leg or something.
vicsilver lives in Virginia, so it's not like it's easy getting it all together so she can get something she likes, and then these jerks have to go out of their way to make it worse. I'm beginning to understand postal employees and the rages.
I took Owen with me to a dr office last week, where he proceeded to trip over his own feet and fall face-first onto the corner of a wooden chair arm. He landed on one of his top front teeth, which is now turning grey. I think he killed it. I wonder if they make some sort of white tooth paint I could use for pictures?
Thursday nothing really bad happened, though I told my grandma I expected to be run down in the parking lot when I went to get a prescription. Instead, they pulled down the prescription window curtain when I was about a foot away. Figures. I also had to argue with the post office about being unable to deliver something to my sister in VA. According to the guy at the 1-800 number, the problem was that the VA post office is staffed entirely by idiots.
Friday I got a nice big bill in the mail from a dr- $788. Apparently, Humana decided on its own and with no proof or reason, that we have other insurance, and denied the claim. I'm sure it's totally unreasonable for me to expect them to find some way to get in touch with us if they need to know, since they have all our info and Joe's work info, too. It's not like we're impossible to get hold of. Hell, if you're on my MSN messenger list you could get my cell #. After calling Humana, I found out that they have NO IDEA what the hell they are doing. At the call center, at least.
Bah. At least it's over. I hope this week goes better!!!
