A Few Notes...
So, I've been at school three days now. I have set up the desks in our classroom, and made seating charts for all the 10th grade classes. Y'all are gonna be mad at me, cuz the hobbits are all completely split up. Except Maggie and Connie, they're near each other. Ruthlyn is with Amanda Hobbs and Jennifer Schwartz and somebody else, I forget. Ryan is with Alex and Benton and Jessica Durvin. Meghann is with Jacob Green (hah) and Casey and Nicki Melton. Lauryn is with Ernest and Jennifer Lloyd and somebody else. I have the desks in sort of separated groups of four. I may still change things, but I kinda like it.
I KNOW THE MUSICAL WE ARE DOING!!!!! And I won't tell, because we don't know for sure, and because I want to to pester Ms. MacNeil to tell you, but, I CAN tell you that it is the coolest and you will love it and be so so excited that we are doing it! I'll bet if you were to list your top five choices for musicals it would be there. AND, NO, ITS NOT RENT. But it's one that I KNOW all of you love. I hope we can do it!!!!!
Oh, I ordered your first novel and it is currently sitting at the front of the Barnes and Noble in Short Pump in my name. Go and pick it up, K? It's Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury. I have decided that most of you will probably not love it. I have also decided that I don't care, because it is the most awesome writing in the world, and y'all need to learn how to write more creatively, and it will help you, AND I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANY CRAP ABOUT IT! (Ryan, Ryan, Ryan).
I can't believe I'll see you in a week. I'm starting to get excited.
And, don't worry about the independent study. I'm going to make it sound like an UNBELIEVABLE amount of work, in the hopes of scaring some people out of honors, but, it really won't be that bad (just don't tell anybody that).
