Workin' once more
I have a lot to do at work this upcoming week (and today) due to a new admission, having to get the new schedule and July schedule ready, and other paperwork thingies, so I may not be very net present, at least in the middle of the night. Staff and client turn-over in the last few months has been huge lately, for various reasons, and as more people drop off the map, I'm starting to be included in the top section of people who've been here the longest. Not way high up there? But no longer the bottom, and I've only been here about two years or so. Weeeeird.
Sarah has got the coolest tentacle rape lamp thing, and also a really sweet (for the price) office chair which I want one of. Target is pretty cool. I think she should take pics once she's all set up. We were so worried about space, but while she's got a lot of stuff, it's managing to fit, even if it is a bit squeezed.
My first banana bread making went okay, though it is a bit crusty on the outside, so I'll have to figure out how to avoid that. I know it is too hard because Sarah leaves little piles of crust on the plate whenever she eats a piece. XD But I am determined to master the form, and my zucchini bread came out awesome (thanks for the recipe sternbunny!), so I know I will figure it out.
The boys enjoyed the beer of Weed (the bottle caps say "Try LEGAL weed!"), and Andy's ankle is feeling better, though still swollen, and Dan has been watching Deadwood with us, so the whole family is doing pretty well! I like it when we're all in the same room and shooting the shit, or watching something, or whatever. My dream of the big commune house is getting closer to in reach! And Rachel will be moving to town soon, this weekend, I think! Awesome!
