OK, fine, flist, you win. (Especially

greensilver, but all of you win.) I'm halfway through the third episode of Community and I'm hooked. I really didn't want to watch this show, for a lot of reasons, including that I hate Chevy Chase and I've always thought Joel McHale was repugnantly smarmy, and I was also really afraid of it hitting my embarrassment squick so badly, but it's... incredibly charming. And funny.
Mostly it's Abed. OMG, he makes me laugh so much. I'm not sure I understand why Troy won the fandom cage match thingie that I confess I don't pay a lot of attention to, but maybe that will come with more episodes. (Though I do love his girlie sneezes.)
I generally have a lot of issues with sitcoms because of my embarrassment squick, but every once in a while some sneak through that I can handle, like 30 Rock and Big Bang Theory. I think this one's a keeper. Ken Jeong is a scary, scary genius.
Do the adorable credits go away completely? I just noticed on the fourth episode they're not doing them. So sad, if so!
Curse you, flist!
