Good news:
I got a teaching job! It's doing substitute teaching for the General Brown Central School District, and apparently I'll be seeing a fair bit of work for the next year.
Bad News:
In order to get the job, I have to be fingerprinted for the database for New York State teachers. This will cost $100. I do not have $100. Hell, I don't have $10. I called them about just getting fingerprinted at the Sheriff's Department or some other police organization, and I was told no, it absolutely has to be done the $100 way. No exceptions whatsoever.
So, as my royalty check is still a month and half off, I'm broke, and have no commissions, and my family isn't able to offer any assistance... I'm going to shamelessly beg for help. A lot.
Please, I really don't want to stay unemployed. :(
Looking like I'm going to be alright. Thanks to everyone who donated and offered support. :)
