I keep thinking of that ship full of Jewish refugees fleeing Hitler that we sent back to die because we were and are that Anti-Semitic as a country. Those deaths have always haunted me. The people we are killing by doing this terrible thing now because we are also that racist and Islamophobic will likely haunt me until I die.
Donald Trump did this on purpose on Holocaust Remembrance Day. We know he knew because he paid lip service to it.
