* It is plant spooge season in my neighborhood, as in I can occasionally watch the pollen floating about outside my window like snow, though it's sporadic and not at the bukkake drift stage yet. (No really, this is a thing that happens in this region.) As a result, I'm still kind of crap despite the antibiotics killing the active sinus infection, and cutting whatever is wrong with my lungs pathogen wise in half. It's a dramatic improvement from a livability perspective, because the sinus infection was making everything incredibly hard, and my lungs do settle eventually once I'm out of the allergen filled air at bedtime, though the correction is slow enough to make me suspect the original virus from January is still in there and noticeable after the bacterial secondary infection has been beaten down. Yes, I know the difference between viruses and bacteria. Because my immune system is way more interested in making own goals than fighting invaders, I will pick up a virus and my immune system will mostly ignore it though will take the occasional swipe at it now and then. My system weakens under the assault and because my lungs are seriously fucked on a genetic level, they get worse and gooier, so a secondary bacterial infection moves in on my already weaken immune system and my incredibly inviting lungs and settles in for the long haul, so we wait for clear signs of a bacterial and we weed wack that.
