* There have been bombings in Istanbul, Turkey and Jakarta, Indonesia recently, likely both Daesh inspired. I'm not up to writing about either of them properly, but that does not mean I am not distressed for injured survivors and the families of the dead.
* They have arrested three people in connection to the attacks in Jakarta.
* They have found a new case of Ebola in Sierra Leone and are taking measures to trace his contacts.
* The Anglican Union is sanctioning the Episcopalian church for the US Church's insistent on doing same sex ceremonies. You know how I keep saying Episcopalians are way left of the communion as a whole? Yeah. So they are bared from leadership etc. for three years. I wonder what my mother would say if she were still alive. She was very involved in church politics in her area and was strongly in favour of moving with the times.
