* We got notice Saturday the workman needed to be in the apartment today. So next to no sleep, heavily disrupted, and I still had things I could not put off. The ebay's got mailed. I blew all the ebay money on postage, meds, and detergent. After Post Office, Bank, and Pharmacy I went to sit in the library basement for taxes. It only took two hours, which is fast for the line there. They could not help me with the back taxes that the lawyer lied about having paid and sent to me a year late so I need to amend a previous return and pay fines. (My sister and I think she should be covering the fines what with it her being the lawyer who hid the paperwork, but that is not how the law works). The CPA said as I already was late, best to hire a preparer in May and sort it then. As if I had money for that. Property tax bill has come and it's tag renewal time. I am fascinated to see where the money will come from. My leg gave out from the hip joint down as I was trying to pick up perishables at the store. I am exhausted and still feeling all teeth and claws.
* On the upside? I have a whole bag of tiny oranges which I am omnoming on right now.
* Dexter: I know it's a silly thing to get on my nerves, but all the supposed Ukrainians keep pronouncing Kiev the Russian way instead of the Ukrainian way. I have trouble believing all these Ukrainians would not know how to pronounce their capital city.
