I still feel crappy and am coughing, but it's more bearable and my head's clearer. My dreams are still tangled, but moved out of fever dreams into live ex-boyfriend salad and weird architecture territory.
* I watched Doctor Who's "The Snowman" again with less howling. It still seems disjointed to me. More than that, the Doctor is bullying poor loyal Strax and I don't like it. The Doctor can be a calamity, a terror, but always with reason. What excuse can there be for a 900+ year old man to be persistently bullying and putting down a nine year old. (Am I miss remembering the Sontaran's age? It's possible.) It seems a petty sort of mean that I associate with "brute force and cynicism," not "intellect and romance." Suddenly I don't like the Doctor. Not eve a little. The contrast is especially strong as I just watched the first two Tom Baker's earlier. Four could be alien and accidentally callous because he had trouble remembering to worry about humans with the galaxy exploding, but he was never that sort of deliberately cruel to someone unable to fight back.
