It's (non-)official: I am graduating at the end of the summer. It looks like I've been able to cram enough classes into this semester to pull it off in one final, huge push. Duric ensured me that when I graduate, he'll get me an interesting job, too, though it could be one of two. Either way, I'll get real money and the chance to do actual hardcore software development, rather than web apps, VBA addins for someone's spreadsheet and other lame programs that don't take effort or require learning new skills.

I haven't decided yet, but I do think I'm going to go for a masters' at the same time. There are still many things I haven't done: derivation of some standard algorithms, more advanced vision and AI, etc. Plus, I want to be able to take Constitutional Interpretation Part Two. Whenever I look through the class list, all of the REALLY interesting sounding classes are graduate classes. I can't miss out on those. Just look at these classes:

Language Processors
Advanced Compilers
Advanced Artificial Intelligence
Pattern Recognition

It sounds to me like these classes teach all the important stuff that the classes I've taken left out (conspicuously and bothersomely absent). I need to know these things.
