Caffeine is my drug of choice. zebeagle August 31 2006, 16:58:26 UTC
I am a completely different person without caffeine. One day on my way to work I felt wide-awake. I had gotten plenty of sleep, so I didn't think I would need any coffee. Big mistake. I was grumpy all day, until I bought a soda. Most mornings I don't even want to be around other humans until I've had a cup of coffee. I think it's terrible to be addicted to caffeine like this, but I haven't found a good Noon-8pm job.

Nope, I've been 'off' caffeine for a few years now. I've been drinking decaffeinated tea.

I used to drink large amounts of caffeinated soda, but I noticed that it was making it really difficult to sleep, so I quit. Now I'm starting to think that the trick is to find a good balance: not drink so much that I can't sleep, but drink just enough that I get a buzz that wears off by the evening.
