Victoria mailed me her deposit and rent check last week so I decided to celebrate and buy myself a new watch. I don't want to wear my dressy one all the time and I need one for running. I was up late Thursday night researching new watches. I found one with a GPS system on it. I also found one with a heart monitor. There was also one with an altimeter, barometer, compass, and heart monitor on it. I decided on an MP3 watch. I already have one that holds 23 megabytes of music. That's about 6 songs. I found one that holds 128 mbs. That's about 55 songs. It's also can be used as a portable hard drive so I can download pictures and documents to it using a USB port. The watch is made in China. It's not sold in the US but I bought one on Ebay.

Friday night I looked at watches again. Don't ask me why. I decided I also wanted a heart monitor watch. I found one called the Mio Shape. It's really neat. It measures your heart rate and can tell you how many calories you've burned during a workout. You input your weight and age and it does all sorts of calculations. You can enter a target amount of calories you need to eat each day and then input calories each time you eat. It adds the calories up and tells you how close you are to the goal. Saturday morning I went to the Sharper Image and bought one.

No more toys until next month.
