(no subject)
So I had.. EASTER CAMP!! Yay.. except for the fact that I have a shocking cold and I've almost completely lost my voice. Yep. I'm meant to be calling Andy tonight.. or vice versa, rather, but I think he'll be straining to hear me. Oh well.
Easter camp wasn't bad.. I had a fit one night, because those girls can be so clicky and I end up feeling like a fat ugly whore. I mean, Josh and Richo pay *heaps* of attention to Kat and Renee, which is ok with me but, at the same time, not? But it's not like no-one talks to me or anything. It's just it magnifies the situation, and I feel like the dorky tagalong kid. Renee's outgoing, got a main role in the production, 9 siblings, and is destined to follow in the footsteps of her older brother and sister and be school capitan. Yes, I spelt that wrong intentionally. And Kat's got a size 6 (but reasonably womanly) figure and is pretty and everything.. And I'm just me!! But that's ok. Today I feel like being me isn't so bad afterall.
We went swimming at Anglesea on Friday. 23 degrees max. But it was awesome. Made another sandcastle that got smooshed. Checked out the surfy shops but everything is so overpriced and not astoundingly cool. But there was the AWESOME market that we went to last year, and I FINALLY GOT A RING TO MATCH THE NECKLACE I GOT THERE LAST YEAR!! Lol. From the same stall. I'm rapped. I spent *so* much money but it was so worth it. I picked up this cool wood ring for $5, a gorgeous shell wood cuff that matches and a necklace at the same stall, for a buck each (!), I found this AWESOME brooch, which is like little black roses in a bouquet, for $12, the ring, a new jacket for $15 bucks, and it's so warm.. And something else. But that's a surpise. hehe. I was so excited. Except, I wish I'd bought more of those $1 necklaces.. I could have hid them away for little birthday presents, or layered them and used them myself.. and I want one of those dorky beanies, like Summer bought Seth in the OC. I have an obsession. With them.
It was awesome last night. Tim taught all the youth this game called Mafia. I love it. It's like a drama crime/mystery game. With lots of tactics. I want to hold a Mafia party. It's that cool.
We also had a big everyone-straightening-their-hair thing. That was fab. Kat was like 'you look like a supermodel'. aw. And.. last year we had an obsession with the spa. But it was slightly broken this year, so we didn't go in as much. Plus, I was sick. But when Kat had her hair straightened, Josh and Richo both got talking to her quick enough for me to be suspicious. lol. But Richo gave Kat his jacket.. I was all 'so Kat gets her hair straightened, and all the sudden she gets Richo's jacket.. so Richo, when I get my hair straightened, will you give me your shirt??' And he was all 'yeah sure!!'. haha. It's ok though, guys, I told him he could keep it. If it had been Josh offering though.. jk. Oh yeah, and I got this nice headband at the market too. Easter was good.. it's so nice to be in a big group of people with plenty of things to talk about. Went horse riding again.. but I found everytime I went to trot, my feet slipped out of the stirrips and I felt like I'd fall off, so I kept my pony, Jamieson in a decent walk the whole time instead. Cute though. We won't be able to go there again, next Easter. They're selling up, which is a shame because it was a fab place. I'm stuffed. And am going to bed now. Early. night.
