that's...it?
so yeah. that's it. it's over now and it's so fucking...weird, ya know? because i've been in it so long that for it to just end like this is...a bit saddening.
school is over my friends! haha! yeah. so after working on a hellish thesis for over 4 months and all the other little classes it's just...over. my finals and everything. i'm done. it's weird to remind myself that i have all this extra time. telling myself that i should get more hours at work and that... i don't have to worry about going to the city for school for the next four months. weeeeird. so yeah. i can totally go ahead and clean out my closet, finish twilight princess, finish super paper mario, finish pokemon, get/play zelda: ocarina of time, draw to my hearts content, and just....do the little things that have been completely neglected for the past...8 months. nice.
went on a really really nice date yesterday. =3
joe took me out to this place called pasta lovers in the city. it was cute and it wasn't too expensive even with dessert. we went out to see Avenue Q and apparently if you go on an off day like a tuesday or something some tickets are less expensive. like we were in the upper mezzanine and he said the tickets were only $60 each compared to the $100 they shoot up to during the on days. so it was cool. and the seats weren't all that bad. the musical was really cool and a lot different than i thought it was going to be. but it was still amazing. it was raining when we got out but we went to Virgin for a bit before i got on the train home. i got home around...12 me thinks. it was a really nice night. =3
so i had a bit of troubles with the best friend last weekend. yeah. didn't mean to make him all depressed but i wasn't really feeling all that well last weekend and i sorta needed him and he was with his wii. can't blame him completely but at the same time it's like...bleh. so yeah. whatever, it's over with. shit like that just happens ya know?
on monday, the last day of school, i went to dinner with some of my friends from school. (duh) we went to an indian place and ate. it was great to be able to see everyone and be with everyone just one last time. with promises of hopefully meeting up during the summer. definitely seeing people at MOCCA tho. so yay for that.
and tomorrrrooooowwwwwww. *giggles* i'm going to a taping of the Daily Show with John Stewart with my friend Cindy and her friend. so that's exciting. yay! the guest apparently is gonna be Ted Koppa, a new journalist. i'm sorta sad by that. yesterday was Tobey McGuire and i get to see Koppa. bleh. oh well, the show will be great as always so i'm looking forward to that.
the bf's birthday is this saturday. luckily allison switched with me on saturday so instead of me closing i'm opening basically so i can go to his birthday party. yay! 21! so knowing my luck for some reason i'll be opening sunday or something. ick. but as long as i go to the party it's all good.
this month is great with movies and this summer seems like it's going to be great with video games. damn... lol. lot's happening and hopefully this summer will be the best yet. even though there's not a massive thing to save for maybe that means we'll have more money for the little things. but we'll see what happens.
and did i mention my new found addiction of super heroes? yeah... about that. *shakes head* my money is gonna go more now that i love marvel stuff with all the new kid heroes and stuff. runaways, young avengers, the loners... it's exciting. now i just have to find a decent comic book place around here but i might just make monthly trips to the city for comics. *shrugs*
