CD players are really hard to find nowadays...
I think the CD-player is really and I say really out-dated already! I couldn't find a single CD-player over @ Best (TM, NAC), Courts (Tamp), Harvey Norman (Funan,Suntec), Sim Lim (who used to claim they are THE Electrical and IT mall) and a few more electrical shops. Finally found 1 over @ Suntec Carrefour and what I get? A darn problematic and faulty player, which cannot even play CDs (since you are not allowed to test there in the 1st place)! Sighz, waste my precious money and most importantly time...
Anyway, the funniest thing that I encountered today was while I was over @ the soccer shop in Peninsular Plaza. I was asking for this pair of soccer shorts and this guy automatically gave me a discount before I could even ask him. As I was about to ask again, he said "aiyo student, no money ah? Never mind, I give u further discount" So from a $59 pair of adidas soccer shorts, it became a $35 pair? Close to 1/2 price, dunno the guy good mood or whether he's bluffing, although i did check out the exact pair over @ The Cathay's adidas and it was priced @ $59...
