So....
1. I only had one class yesterday, from 1010 to 11 something. Class was enjoyable, as a class that short is apt to be.
2. The weather outside was delightful. It was actually hot for part of the afternoon.
3. I had lunch with Melissa, Lincoln, and Emily. It was thouroghly enjoyable, and led to a very pleasant afternoon.
4. After lunch, we went out to the green and Lincoln and Melissa split, as did Emily for a little while, so I hung out with Madison and her friend Colin. We just luxuriated in the sun and talked about school and stuff. Then Emily came back, and we decided to go run some errands.
5. Running errands with Emily was really fun, and she is very good looking, as well as very cool. She has pretty good taste in music, as well as good taste in friends ;-).
6. After errands, we came back to the club fair to wander around and listen to the reggae band. The band was adequate, and I signed up for a ton of groups. Keep in mind that it's only about 5:00 at this point, and still gorgeous outside. We sat in the shade with Rachel and Allie for about 45 minutes and then they stayed and we left.
7. Melissa, Lincoln, and I went back to our room and hung out. We made tea, watched a Radiators DVD, and eventually we got in touch with Rachel. She invited us over, so we made our way.
8. Smoking the hookah at Rachel's was so chill. We all brought our pieces, but never smoked. We cleaned out a couple of bowls, one of them being Rachel's frosted glass spoon. Oh my god.
8.5 Smoking the hookah again was also very chill [-- Lincoln].
9. After a couple hours at Rachel's, during which we actually chilled with Pam and met her boyfriend Adam (who was pretty cool), we left to get alcohol.
10. Melissa, Lincoln and I got dinner at the Case Center (real chicken patties left over from dinner). We ate quickly so we could run back to her room in Tower and drink with her roommate.
11. There were a bunch of people in Melissa's room, and they were all very chill. They let us drink and refused money, and they had a lot of fun doing it.
12. After deciding that it may not have been the greatest idea to eat bad food quickly and then drink quickly (no, i didn't get sick, not then not at all that night), we walked back to Case to hear the Bomb Squad. They actually hadn't started playing yet, but we met Racheal (one of our HC's) and her friend Jessie outside the building. They were smashed and hilarious, drinking straight gin from coffee cups. They flirted with us for a while, and then we heard Bomb Squad take the stage, so we rushed inside. They followed.
13. Bomb Squad was, pardon the pun, the bomb! They were so funky, and I danced like a complete idiot (according to my plan). I saw basically everyone there that I had expected to (Rachel and Allie went to a friends house to drink), and had a whole lof of fuckin fun.
14. During the last song of the night, this girl came up and asked if she could dance with me, like me. I said something to the effect of go ahead, make my day... after the show we talked a little bit, but she never ended up coming outside, so we just hung out with Beth and Emily until they went back to Moore.
All in all, a very satisfying day. No downs, only ups. I really enjoyed it, and I think that I have enough people I'm comfortable with now to last me quite a while.
