Lace Cat Knitting Pattern

Jul 19, 2009 23:10

I was looking for lace patterns depicting a cat, and could only find one, which I didn't like. So I set out to chart my own:

Since I went to all that trouble, I though I might as well share the chart.

Only right side is charted, wrong side is purled.

I'm not good at explaining stitches, I just hope people understand what I mean.

Note:
Where the chart says "Slip" I actually just knitted the stitch on the right side and slipped it on the wrong side.
Likewise I slipped the top stitch in the crossover stitches on the purl side, but I didn't want to chart both sides for the sake of 13 stitches.
It probably makes very little difference.

Errata:
24th July 2009: Corrected stitch 12 on row 13. It showed a M1, it should just be a normal knitted stitch. PDF version on Ravelry is corrected.
25th July 2009: Something is wrong on Row 12, I'll try to have a closer look at it as soon as I can. For now; ignore the M1 at S12 and the SSK at S25; knit stitch normally in stead.
28th July 2009: Corrected chart and PDF on Ravelry.
29th July 2009: Original bug snuck back in during yesterdays fix. Re-fixed. Should be perfect now!
