Outside!
The cat was outside for the first time today.
He seems to have sensed my evil plans, because he fought me all the way down the stairs. Once outside he hid in the neighbour's cellar window, refusing to come within my reach, until I grew bored and managed to pry him out with a broom handle. He didn't seem to be able to identify the correct door from the outside either, so I had to carry him inside, something that caused him to scramble onto my head and holding on by burrowing his claws in my forehead. Once inside he kicked off from my head and ran up the stairs and hid under the sofa, where he still resides.
All in all, not an inconspicuous success, but I guess it could have been worse.
Hopefully he'll still trust me enough for another small trip outside tomorrow.
