Uh-oh...
My computer just went *poof* and went dead.
trying to turn it back on caused the fan to start up for a fraction of a second, then the power went out again.
To me, that kind of behaviour spells "short circuit".
I wasn't doing anything exciting when it happened, but a few hours earlier I had opened the cabinet to blow out some dust with canned air, and strip together wires and cables.
So, I opened it up, moved some stuff around, loosened some strips and tried again, and now it started up. I still have no idea what went wrong.
I hope there's no permanent damage.
