Late night ramblings...
The bright side of the economy being in the toilet is I filled my car today for about 20 bucks. Slightly better than $4 a gallon. Doesn't quite make up for not being able to find a job, but every little bit helps I guess.
In other news, or lack of, I went onto CNN.com as I do frequently in an attempt to keep in touch with the outside world, and was bombarded with quite possibly the most annoying on-page popup add I've ever seen, courtesy of Capital One. Unlike regular popup ads which can be blocked by Safari or at least pushed to the background, these adds are attached directly into the page itself, much like a cancerous tumor. After searching for a way to get rid of it, I found something I though would work but it didn't. I tried refreshing the page. It came back. I eventually found the tiny close box which is nowhere near the actual picture, but clicking on it didn't work either. I'll never get my news. Using my amazing photoshop skills and my plethora of free time, I made this diagram of the situation so you can feel my pain.
