:D Just hearing (reading, okay) Rusty, John & Eve's enthusiasm for the new season is wonderful. I've got speculation again! I haven't had a decent dose of speculation in *ages*.

I have a great deal of faith in what is coming. I know that I am in the minority in saying that I'm excited to see what happens, but I really am. I really want to see how Jack is now, I want to see Gwen as a mum, I want to see their reunion, I just want to see it all.

Yes, this - all of it! I want to see how they move on, what happens next!

It's thinking back a way, but I'm sure the idea of TW as an outlaw organisation made up a fair bit of the squee back before S1 started, before we even knew that TARDIS!Rose had made Jack immortal. That it's 'fallen' is even better - IMO! - because we knew what they were, and what they've lost.

(It's probably really sad, but I'm really curious as to where Gwen and Rhys are living, and whether they've been forced upon the in-laws. She's lost her fabulous well-paid job, so could they afford the nice new house on just his wages?)

It is taking it back to the bare bones of what the organization meant. Obviously they didn't always have all that high tech equipment back then, so honestly, they're kicking it old school and I like the idea.

Well! She probably saved a lot of her money [since remember, she said she had never seen that many zeros at one time in her life] so I'm sure they have their house. She's probably back to working as a cop? That'd be interesting or else she's playing stay at home mum -- which would be hard for me to believe. lol.

Good point on the savings, but I can't help thinking that Rusty would be pressing as many buttons as possible, pushing to see how difficult he could make things for the two of them. If he's serious about the practically terrorists thing, then she might find it hard to find work at all. Even harder if she's juggling with childcare. And I know she's got the 456 evidence, but without Torchwood and its tech, does she have the power to use it?

Although... It could be fun to see her back in uniform. Coping with being a lowly copper again. Is there any chance she could end up working under Swanson, d'you think? ;)

Oh God, wouldn't that be funny?

And the other stuff, yeah, that's absolutely possible. But one would think that if she has the evidence of the governments ... shortcomings, so to speak, she'd be able to get a job anywhere she wanted in an effort for them to keep her quiet.
