i wrote this email a couple of days ago.. went through my email addresses and sent it to almost everyone who has ever sent me anything. the president (bush) had sent me something about the 2004 election so his email was in there. (President@WhiteHouse.gov not like its REALLY him, you know) so i sent him this email

i would love to get a good luck hug, i’m going to need it. sometime in the afternoon or evening tomorrow or wednesday would be best for me. possibly thursday night. i really appreciate the note you left me. i agree that i am lucky for having the ability and time to be a small designer at only 17. but i mostly feel that my age is a disadvantage. when people discover it they are either put off by the fact that i am more successful than they were at my age, or they cease to take me seriously. once people know my age, no matter how fucking professional i act they can’t get past the fact that i am a little girl in high school. i am currently not even able to attend most of the fashion shows that showcase my work, because they are held in nightclubs. i now avoid telling people my age in reference to my clothing. ps i am probably not going to do very much fashiony stuff while i’m in manhattan. but i am bringing my sewing machine. basically i will be a slave to my aunt, who is a renowned photo stylist. which doesn’t sound too bad. anyhow if i get sick of it i can always come back after two weeks. see you soon.
