24 hour Comic Day

Oct 19, 2008 12:40

So, yesterday was 24 hour comics day. Which basically follows the notion that you try to make 24 comic pages in 24 hours.
Since I'm a chicken I decided to take half a day, while keeping the boys in Odense committing for 24 hours company. I need my sleep, dammit. ;)

Anyway, I actually made it. I got 12 comic pages done in 12 hours. Inked no less. :) Sure, they have a really crappy story, and the art is in no way perfect, but... Less than an hour spend per page, no preparation done beforehand! I'm proud of myself for doing that. :)

The plan was that we started 10 AM Saturday. That got moved to 11 AM, but after that, all four of us started to work like crazies. I was done 12 hours later, and done with scanning around 0.30 AM Sunday.
Didn't get too much sleep, as I was staying the night in the same apartment the buys were working. But I'm guessing I've had 4-6 hours of often interrupted sleep. That's something. :/
All the boys actually made it. The last one was done at 7 AM Sunday, 4 hours before deadline. I'm so impressed. My pages was done 15 minuttes before my deadline, and I had to fight to keep said deadline.

Anyway, here's my pages. Made from the keywords "fish" and "black hole".
