I am *so* glad right now that I don't have to deal with a car or having to shovel anything. Over two feet of snow in 24 hours will be the most this city has ever had in recorded history.
I'm being surprisingly prepared by bringing extra bundle-up stuff to work today. And like hell I'll be taking a cab home this evening. I figure I'm waaay safer on a train.
Speaking of cabs, I shit you not, Sunday night I was in a cab and I actually had to tell the driver to put down his fucking book WHILE HE WAS GOING DOWN THE ROAD. WHO DOES THAT. Much less, WHO DOES THAT WITH A PAYING CUSTOMER IN THE BACK SEAT?? So of course that worthless piece of trash didn't receive a tip. I didn't even want to pay him full fare.
Sooo yeah. On tonight's menu is Chicken Teriyaki Meatballs with Edamame. I'm confident I won't completely destroy this dish. The recipe is surprisingly simple. Mmm...meatballs.
