INCIDENTALLY, FIC WHERE GWEN AND MORGANA GET A BIT COMPETITIVE OVER A SWORD FIGHT WOULDN'T BE AMISS.
And caps-spazzing aside for a sec, it worries me a little that apparently we see them going slightly divergent ways in the finale, because oh, they really need to be together forever. But then if Morgana isn't going to go all-out inna-cave evil, maybe she need never leave Camelot, and she'll just be Morgana The Court Sorceress whose approach to a problem isn't always conventional but Queen Guinevere quite enjoys arguing about it with her?

I worry about it too - THEY HAVE TO BE FRIENDS FOREVER! I think the liklihood is that they'll be close for a long time yet, but the moment Morgana endangers someone Gwen sees as innocent, they're going to start having problems. It'll be sad, but the angst will be EPIC - also, the possibility of future hate!sex is AWESOME. Plus I think they'll always maintain a level of concern for each other - it wouldn't be a satisfactory resolution for the show to have Morgana left alienated from everybody at the end of it, and Katie seems fairly convinced that they aren't going down that traditional all-out evil Morgava rout anyway.
