Welcome, ladies, gents and sundry sentient beings, to the first liveJournal dedicated to the women of the BBC's 'Merlin'. Please slash responsibly.
To get things started, here's a picspam:
TA-DA! Femmeslash, I haz it. (Oh, come ON - Gwen's bringing her FLOWERS for pete's sake...)
I was always confused about what exactly Morgana had been doing just prior to this scene. Has she just got out of bed? Her hair hasn't been brushed and her makeup has been toned down, but I don't really know anyone who sleeps with a belt on... 0.o oh, Morgana - apparently she has to be a style!diva, even in her night clothes.
Notice that the second picture she's doing exactly the same eyebrow thing that she tends to do when being flustered around Merlin (notably after she kisses him). Yet more evidence of Gwen's ginormous girl!crush on her mistress.
'...Gwen, are you hitting on me? Seriously - this would be easier if you would just ask me out for coffee...' (Though I do really like how sweet they are to each other in this scene, whether you want to read subtext into it or not. They have such an adorable friendship).
'You make me happy.'?! Good LORD, if this relationship got as much screen time as Arthur and Merlin's does it would have twice as many rabbid slashers on it by now.
Gwen does her adorable flustered 'you mean you actually LIKE ME?!' grin and scurries away (again - same one she uses when she gets flustered around Merlin). And Morgana totally checks her out. ^_^
Gwen's 'DAMN my flowers got PWND' face.
And Gwen's Look of Love. Seriously. 'Gwen, were you just giving me The Look of Love?' 'Me? Nooo...'
it has to be said that Katie and Angel are capable of some singularly adorable facial expressions. Particularly in the scenes where they're together.
And, seriously, WHAT is Morgana looking at here if it isn't Gwen's arse? She is actually checking her out. There is more subtext in this SINGLE LOOK than there is in most of Arthur and Merlin's scenes put together. (Okay, maybe not the dressing ones. Or the ones where Merlin is unconscious and moaning about Arthur going 'faster'. XP But you take my point!)
