Merlin Prompt Fest??
Hello!
I am thinking of running a slash/femmeslash (including RPF) prompt fest and would like to know if this is something people would be interested in?
In case you don’t know what I mean by “prompt fest” this is how it works:
Everyone will be invited to leave prompts for fic/art (and possibly vids). The prompts can be anything from a song to a picture to a detailed outline.
After X amount of time the prompt post will be closed and the prompts posted in a “claiming post”. Claiming will be first come first served and will be anonymous.
Participants will then have X amount of time to write/draw/make the prompt they have claimed and submit their work to the mods.
Then posting will begin, followed by author/artists reveals at the end.
This is a very rough outline, and there will obviously be rules (such as all fics must be at least 1000 words and be beta’d, and all works must remain anonymous until the reveals), but that’s the general gist of it.
The main difference between this and an exchange fest is that EVERYONE is welcome to leave prompts, even if you don’t write/draw/etc. If you leave a prompt there is no obligation for you to create anything (but it would obviously be wonderful if you did).
