Happy New Year!
Kyūnenjū taihen osewa ni narimashita!
My New Years was actually quite enjoyable we went out spent time with friends. Sang some Karaoke, played some pool and then returned to our friends house in the city where we stayed for the night. Nothing fancy, but the time was well spent. New Years day on the other hand started off on an interesting note. To explain a portion of this I probably need to mention that much like a bear I sleep in a cave. I dislike sunny sleeping places in general, but coupled with strange noises sleeping becomes impossible. They keep chickens in their gazebo... Chickens and light = no sleep past eight running on barely 3 hours of sleep, and a hangover was the happiest way to start my morning. But wait there's more...Panda, my four foot three, 91lbs, eight year old slammed her pinkie finger in the door of the house and we spent the majority of the day in Urgent care waiting to get her taken care of. By the time we were done our plans of getting our shopping done before returning home were shot. Finally home I'm just trying to stay warm as all the heaters in the house were off while we were gone and the house takes forever to warm back up due to the worst insulation job in history. So now I'm sitting back wrapped in a fuzzy blanket drinking my jinjaa green tea out of my new teapot and cups that Kanrin got me for Christmas.
