Finished Cursed Child

Finished it quickly it is mainly a lot of short sentences and very little stage direction.
Speaking as someone who doesn't like the epilogue I was dubious going into this but being Harry Potter I had to read it and get it on the day it came out. I am surprised by the book it seems to go against all that I believed but what I have seen about the casting the lead (Albus) intrigued me and who they cast as Harry surprised me as he was a good physical representation.1
I have mixed feeling coming out of the book I have not come away from the instant love that I came away from the first six feeling if I ignored the epilouge I did love the the Deathly Hallows and have reread it many times since. It is a play so it didn't have the same attention to detail but it felt it used too many plot devices and just things that didn't fit with my view of the potter world. I haven't rushed back to look at bit or started to read it again eager to delve back in. Instead I felt like I should come to Live Journal where I spent many hours and made many friends to discuss the the potter world. Those times have passed and people moved on but I visit this page from time like a pensieve memory.
Sorry I tangent off. I still love all things Harry Potter that has not left me. But I wish the play had been completely written by Jo instead of a collaberation as I feel it misses something. I hope for more from from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them.
