Of Mel Brooks and shiny beads

Yes, I love Mel Brooks movies. I adore "History of the World Part I" and "Robin Hood: Men in Tights"; however, I watched last night a remake of one of his movies "The Producers".
The verdict: It. Was. Hilarious.
It has both Nathan Lane (Timon) and Matthew Broderick (Simba, Ferris Bueller) as the main characters. Nathan Lane, a washed up Broadway producer who keeps producing flops and Broderick an uptight, timid accountant. When Broderick's character uncovers a way to make tons of money off a flop, Lane's character loops him into the scheme. The plan? Get lots of money from backers, then get the worst screenplay--"Hitler in Springtime"--, the worst director known to man--a character that makes Maximilian Pegasus look positively straight-laced--, and a bunch of horrendous actors.
What can go POSSIBLY wrong here?

Well, I won't tell you ;).  The movie's quite hilarious, although it may seem somewhat poor taste for some, but let's put it this way: it can't be as offensive as "Blazing Saddles". lolol

But the funny thing happened the other day: I mentioned Mel Brook's movies and somebody goes on and on on how Mel Brooks is anti-Semitic.It made me go 0.o?, because the man is Jewish.  That's like, self loathing on EXTREMEMODE. Lesson learned: people, do your research before going on a rant.

Oh, and I'm thinking of entering a bead contest on this one website, entering some photos of a project I did a long time ago. The prize is a $1,000 gift certificate for the site. Hun, I could buy a TON of beads with that money, and then some :D. The project was a necklace, done in a sort Egyptian style, in the shape of a white phoenix, with gold, and copper beads on a black background. The kicker is that the beads are all seed beads, exceptionally tiny buggers, plus each bead was sewn onto the fabric one bead at a time. That's right folks, one bead at a time.
. . .This is probably why I need glasses.

At the very least, shouldn't I get a prize for the greatest exercise in patience? loljk.

And I actually got off my butt and began to work on my Pokemon trilogy so, whee there *throws imaginary confetti*. The story had gone on hiatus for a while, mostly because the plot was kicking my butt in the fact that it seemed really weak, especially the third one. A miracle came a few weeks ago in a dream and it essentially helped me rewrite the plot for the third book, plus helped me expand on the second one greatly by adding in a few more characters, of my own creation, of course. So, yea.
