wow its been a while
so, yeah, ima start posting on my ell-jay again, god knows why, i sure don't, it just seemed like a good idea at the time. so anyway...
drum major tryouts are tomorrow...im really nervous about them. i really want to be drum major this year, being it my senior year, and its just been like a personal goal of mine since 9th grade. we have to conduct "Cantina Band (a la 'Sing, Sing, Sing')" (from Star Wars), which isn't that hard. the only thing im worried about is the national anthem and the downs/fight song. garrett smith, the drum major from last year, is trying out too, so he has a better grip on those songs than i do. but i am going to give it my best.
schools almost out...cant wait. i am so ready for summer. this school year has just been a total bummer. i pretty much gave up this last nine weeks. i hope i dont have to go to summer school. chemistry is the devil, and is very hard. hopefully i can pull all my grades up though. i really need to work as much as i can this summer, i need the extra cash. if i have to go to summer school, i wont be able to make up some mula. im excited about next year, though. being a senior is going to rock.
i may be getting a new guitar very soon. i want an h-250 (look it up on musiciansfriend.com, its an LTD), but if i could afford it, id get an american SG. they are very sexy. i also have a band going, the name is Beyond the Falls, so when we start playing shows, check us out, yo!
well, i need to get to work now, so peace out girlscout, and other stuff of the same nature.
