Travels
I fly out on Friday to LA to meet one of my good friends and sing in his Sunday afternoon wedding. Good news: It shouldn't be snowing while I need to fly. Bad News: I will still be in LA when my family gets together at my great uncle's estate to recollect on my great grandfather's life and accomplishments.
It is still raining here and as Chris and I were driving back from Tahoe tonight I heard a small flood advisory broacast on the radio; the last time I remember hearing one of those was when I was younger during the floods of 96' and 97' down yonder towards Yuba City- perhaps it is sick but I was thinking all the excitement was cool back then, ha ha. Now that I have truly seen the devastion a natural disaster can do I dont' wish that "excitement" on anyone...just the rain. Lots. Of rain.
