My Work Schedule Killed My Thirst For Media. :(

Today is pretty meh. I have the day off, and I know there's stuff to do, but I just don't have the motivation to do it. All I want to do today is sit around, play on the computer and watch TV. The final episodes of "Battlestar Galatica" are airing tonight, but I have missed an entire season of episodes so I have no clue what is going on anymore. :( I want to catch up and see what finally happens. Will they make it to Earth? What will they find there? Will they be disappointed or happy? Plus what will happen to the Cylons?

Same with "Lost". I'm literally lost on the plot now. I missed a season and I want to see what's going on now. From seeing the ads on TV, 6 of them made it off the island and the rest "disappeared", along with the island. WTF. Again, this is a show I need to catch up on.

I want to catch up on all the shows I enjoy watching (I've even missed out on some episodes of "Bones"). Damn you work schedule! *shakes fist* I work weird hours, with evening shifts ending at 9 or 10pm, and often after working said evening shifts, I have to go to bed early to get up and work a morning shift (usually starting at 9am). Working in the real world has prevented me from watching all my shows at the times I want to watch them. I'll have to start renting those shows on DVD, or search them out on a bittorrent site and download them.

Speaking of downloading, my computer got looked at by Andrea and Mike. They said something's wrong with my wireless card. That's the third wireless card I've had die on me over the last two years. No more wireless cards for me right now. I'll have to get a table and put it in my room so I can hook my laptop to the modem. This would have to mean I have to re-arrange my room. :P My room does need a make-over anyway.

Another thing, I need to catch up on "Ouran High School Host Club" and "Full Metal Alchemist." Those are really good anime shows. "Ouran" makes me laugh with it's silliness. "Full Metal" has a really good plot and often makes me laugh and cry during each episode. "Spiral" is also another good anime. It's kind of like "X-Files". Good sci-fi mystery fare. :)

Apparently, "True Blood" is a good show. Mary got the pilot episode for free from work and we've never watched it yet lol. Tara and Andrea are addicted to it and they keep telling us to watch it. I will eventually haha.

Bah, I'll get caught up on those shows at some point in time. xp
