Third sex in the Canadian passport?

They talk about making alteration in our passport, making possible for transgender people to wrote an X instead than an F or M in the case 'sex', even for the transgender that didn't have an operation.

I hope that they do it. 
But my cynical personality make me think about how it's can be used as a control tool...
