Merry X-mas!
Lucky me, I got to work a 12 hour day yesterday because FedEx lost 82 of our boxes among people's presents and didn't decide to deliver them until 4 pm. I made it home about 8:30 pm, just in time to eat some dinner, see my family for a few minutes, and open presents. Shortly thereafter, I crashed.
This morning I've had the pleasure of cleaning all the dishes that mom used to make our dinner yesterday and throwing all the wrapping paper and boxes into a heap in the garage. Now I'm doing laundry so Dave and I will have something to wear in Colorado, which is where we are going tomorrow.
What ever happened to just opening presents and sitting around drinking Egg Nog all day? Why is it, the older I get, the less fun Christmas is?
I think I'm going to go plug in the XBox and pop in my new Atari Anthology. Perhaps that will remind me of better days......
