Was cleaning up my unbelievable backlog of e-mails and found this:
See that condo on the left in the photo that's pretty much untouched? That's where M. (my mom) was living at the time (and, in fact, still lives). She had scorch holes in her patio furniture afterwards, and the two condos on either side of her bulding were reduced to scrap. It all happened
last year, and the condos on either side of ours are all rebuilt now, but the photo never fails to shock me.
