Well, my weekend was kinda bittersweet. I went down to Houlton Friday afternoon after classes, picked Chris up, and we went to a youth rally at one of the churches in Houlton, where we watched a movie and had a bonfire. However, right before the bonfire we got news that one of our friends that had been in our youth group for a few years, and who Chris had been very good friends with had been killed the day before in a car accident. (Rest in peace, Amber) We were devastated. To make things worse...I realized that she had been in my science class up here for almost two weeks and I never even recognized her cause it's been a few years since I've seen her. Anyway, on a brighter note...the rest of the weekend was pretty awesome. That night after the youth rally Chris and I took two of Roger's kids and went to play some ball, then we had to take them back to Roger's fiance DezRay's house. While we were there, Dez invited us to go back Saturday night and do something. We went out to Dez's house Saturday afternoon and hung out, ordered some pizza, then went out and did some stuff with them. It was sooo much fun. After that we went to Chris' house and watched the northern lights for a while. They were absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I've never seen such a beautiful display of the northern lights. They were all green and were dancing across the sky just like flames, spiking up, and rippling all across the sky. It was soooo amazing. Well, that's pretty much my weekend. Now I'm back at UMPI. Today I decided to try out cross country and see how I liked it. I ran for 5 minutes straight, walked a minute/ran a minute for 5 more minutes of running, then went to the fitness room and did 5 minutes on the rowing machine and 5 minutes on the bike, for a grand total of 20 minutes training time. It was ok, but I'm still not 100% sure if I really want to do it. They do a lot of travelling over weekends, and I don't know if I really wanna do that. I don't know if I really wanna travel that much, and I like to have my weekends to kinda unwind and relax. Anyway...I'll figure something out...lol. Oh yeah, I get to work in the cafeteria for my work study...lol. I work Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7-9:30 and Sundays from 4-6:30 in the afternoon, so it's not all that bad. Well, I guess that's pretty much all I have for now. I'll talk to ya all later. Miss ya.
