I am in a hurry, so just some quick notes:
Planted leeks near garlic scapes in most sheltered garden Also put leeks on north west bed on west side of lattice.
Planted Kentucky Wonder on most eastern lattice bed on one side, and turnips on the western side of that same lattice.
Planted edamame in a bed that used to have potatoes in it.
Dug up a bed to plant with potatoes and carrots to morrow. The main potato bed will be the wettest one - perhaps a bad idea but it was fallow last year (and the year before? and need a lot of work to get it back in planting shape. Tomorrow's job.)
I was thinking as I planted beans that only people who believe in the future can plant gardens from seed.
ETA: planted potatoes in just one bed, left the fallow one to stay fallow.
Put some carrot seeds on the most northern lattice bed's most western side (opposite side as the leeks.) I intend to put another planting of beans in the middle in another week.
Wanted to plant bok choi, but it turns out to be a cold weather crop, so I'll try to remember to put it in around August 1st. Like I'll remember. But maybe.
