Spurge

I never remember the name of the flower that comes up in the vinca patch. It's feathery and has a half yellow flower. Spurge. It's in bloom now. So are irises - all sorts - and sweet stock. Lunaria still, but not yet peonies or poppies, although both look heavily pregnant.  The sweet stock looks particularly nice in front of the rose bush on the south side.

I bought a "Azure Rush" hybrid of "Rozanne" hardy geranium to plant back home since I love the plant and had no place for it in Maine.

I love being in Maine. I took a walk by the ocean at noon today and tried to soak up the sunlight and seascape to get me through the next two weeks until I can go back.

I don't dislike my home, but I am always sad to leave Maine to go home. I wonder if I can see a way to make Maine my primary home. I suspect that would not work right. Part of what gets my groove back is simply being on vacation, even if it's just for a weekend (and involves heavy cleaning and yard work.)
