Mine's a little strange, so I figured I'd elaborate (even though I didn't think to choose that option.)
I've got two jobs, and am switching out one for another. I'll call them Jobs 1, 2 and 3.
Job 1 is in Cooperstown, and my main income at the moment. It is a 40 minute drive away, and absolutely requires a car. I can choose when I go in, and for how long, so long as I can keep roughly current with submitted mortgages. (This takes about three hours--most of what I do is going backwards.) This is my main income at the moment.
Job 2 is a volunteer gig in Utica, taken for the experience in the legal field (and references and stuff). I can and frequently *do* take the bus--it's about the same price as gas, without wear-and-tear. Problem is that I have to get out the door about an hour earlier than if I drive; also, I can't do errands in Utica if I've taken the bus. But overall it's the better option, and I think I manage it about half to two-thirds of the time.
Job 3 is the one I'm changing Job 2 for (and giving notice tomorrow). It's located a few blocks away in the middle of town, and one of the gigantic advantages is that I will not have to spend a dime on my commute. (Bill disagrees--he thinks I should get something to put on my feet to avoid slipping on the ice. But that's one static cost.) The problem is that it's only going to last a month or two; I've managed to come to an agreement where I'll work there 4 days, and in Cooperstown on the 5th, so I can maintain the latter during this temp position.

So... I guess I'm kind of all over the place!
