T-15 and 116 to go
I took the morning off and hence only finished 5 returns today. It was Sunday, that's the morning I take off. I mostly used it to sleep in. I'm badly in need of a day off and I'm really conscious of how hard a slog I have in front of me for the next 15 days.
I had hoped to find some time to get my hair cut, but that isn't working out. Barring that, I had hoped to dye it myself in the bathroom, but never found time for that, either. All I've managed to do is to trim my bangs. I keep being in the shower when clients arrive early and end up skipping creme rinse in my hair and shaving my legs. I don't recall the last time I washed the slacks I'm wearing. The only thing approaching a self-care activity that I do is walk my deposit to the bank.
I thought I was done with evening clients at this point, but I'm disappointed to see that two more crept in this week. I have 19 returns ready to do as I sit here, and another 29 who are just going to get me one more piece of paper so I can then finish them up. Uh... sure. Also, 31 who are scheduled but not yet here. That leaves 37 who haven't scheduled with me yet. Why rush?
